I was doing a one day road trip with my wife along the Fundy Shore of Nova Scotia. This shot was taken at the Government Wharf in Advocate Harbour where they experience 20 foot tides. I was lucky enough to catch the boats at low tide with a nice little stream leading your eye along the boats.

This Cape Island style fishing boat sits at her mooring as a December storm blows through. Fishers in Nova Scotia work all winter long in the bitter cold and you can really feel the cold in this image. A winter storm had recently passed and in it’s wake the temperature was around -5C and winds were blowing at 30-40 knots. Luckily I was able to take this shot from the comfort of my truck.
